Measuring equipment

Pump station
Pump station

There are three pumps used in the calibration rig.

The first and second pump are connected to the suction pipe in the tank with the valve DN 500, third pump is connected to the suction pipe in the tank with the valve DN 200. Output pipes from the pump

At the outlet of the basin, a slide DN 300 for draining the water from the storage tank is connected. At these is to register the maximum and minimum water level in the tank a level indicator attached.

Master Flowmeter

  • Flowmeter DN 500 & DN 200 Endress+Hauser PROMAG 53
  • Flowmeter DN 200 Endress+Hauser PROMAG 53
  • Flowmeter DN 80 SIEMENS SITRANS F M MAGFLO MAG 5100 W
  • Electromagnetic flow sensor
  • Hastelloy integrated grounding and  measuring electrodes
  • Measuring principle: electromagnetic induction
  • Operating pressure 0.01 ... 40 bar
  • Approvals PED – 97/23 EC FM Class 1 div 2
  • Double calibrated: Endress+Hauser Flowtec AG Cernay, F, Slovak Institute of Metrology, Bratislava

Test area

Test area

  • Flow straightened DN 500 for flow stabilization with pressure switch
  • Pressure gauge thermometer, remote-controlled solenoid valves for draining and venting
  • Selected line parts (accessory)
  • A drainage channel in the floor to catch the water running into the underground sump
  • On the floor a grate for supporting and fixing the line parts and the measured flow

Divertors

Divertors

  • Divertor DN 500 is installed on the platform above the tank 40 m3
  • Divertor DN 250 is installed on the platform above the tank 14 m3
  • Both are connected to the lines from the block of the control valves
  • From each one deflector chute into the associated weight systems container and a further closed channel in the storage tank
  • The pneumatic control ensures equal switching time of divertor positions.
